Mechanical Engineering, Algonquin College and a member of Ontario Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists and NACE Certified Corrosion Technologist. Dave's main background is from roadway design as he worked for several years with the Region of Ottawa Carleton in Functional Design, laying out roadways which are only now being built. Dave Took a Highway Engineering Course with J.P. Braaksma at Carleton University, it was part of the Masters program. It was at this point in 1990 that Dave realized that he wanted to work in an operational environment and see things completed in a shorter time frame. Dave has spent the past 13 years prior to 2003 in the Water Utility operational side, first as a supervisor, and then as a technical assistant Project Managing the Cathodic Protection Program during the last 9 years.
